BEIJING (April 8, 2024) – Nissan sales in China reached 59,914 units in March.
The sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan (including the Nissan, Venucia and INFINITI brands) reached 56,486 units in March. The LCV business represented by Zhengzhou Nissan (ZNA) sold 3,428 units in March.
Year to date, Nissan has sold 167,291 units in China.
Shohei Yamazaki, senior vice president of Nissan, as well as chairman of the Management Committee for China and president of Dongfeng Motor Ltd. (DFL), said: “For the first quarter of this year, market conditions remained complicated. We are encouraged that Nissan shows an increase on the year-on-year basis in March, as well as the first quarter. We will continue to insist on always delivering value and on showing an unabated commitment to customers, supported by a variety of strong vehicle choices.
“In March, the Nissan Sylphy family maintained strong sales momentum. The Nissan Altima and SUV lineup also were strong performers. The start of Pathfinder SUV sales was strong, with many customer orders. These models will help us fulfill our commitment to meet the diversified needs of Chinese customers,” Yamazaki added.
