BEIJING (October 10, 2023) – Nissan’s sales in China reached 63,823 units in September.
The sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan (including the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands) reached 61,303 units in September 2023. The Venucia and INFINITI brands saw month-on-month growth of 3.6%, and 24.6%, respectively. The LCV business represented by Zhengzhou Nissan (ZNA) sold 2,520 units in September.
Nissan in China sold 546,744 units in the last nine months.
Shohei Yamazaki, executive committee member and senior vice president of Nissan, chairman of the Management Committee for China and president of Dongfeng Motor Ltd. (DFL) said: “In a constantly changing business environment in China, we are ensuring sustainable growth, and also accelerating the introduction of new products to the market.”
“Since the start of taking orders, the X-Trail e-POWER has shown its acceptance from customers step by step. Together with the launch of the Nissan Ariya500, Venucia V-online DDi PHEV, and all new Nissan Qashqai, our reinforced SUV lineup shall help us to meet the diversified needs of Chinese customers,” Yamazaki added.
