BEIJING (July 5, 2023) – Nissan’s sales in China continued to rebound in June, reaching 69,139 units, a 4.6% increase month on month.
The sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan (including the Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands) reached 64,794 units in June 2023, a 3.4% increase month on month. The Nissan brand saw a 3.8% growth month on month to 59,096 units. The LCV business represented by Zhengzhou Nissan (ZNA) sold 4,345 units in June, a 5.9% increase year on year and a 33.1% increase month on month.
Nissan in China sold 358,509 units in the first six months, a 24.4% decline year on year.

Nissan reports retail sales for PV and wholesale sales for LCV
“It’s gratifying to see continued signs of recovery in June,” said Shohei Yamazaki, senior vice president of Nissan, chairman of the Management Committee for China and president of Dongfeng Motor Ltd. (DFL).
He added that the company is pleased to see the month-on-month sales rebound of Nissan Altima, Qashqai, and the X-Trail series along with the Sylphy series, especially the sales momentum of the all-new Nissan e-Power X-Trail, which is equipped with Nissan’s cutting-edge e-POWER and e-4ORCE technologies at a competitive price.
“With the upcoming launch of the Venucia V-online DDi PHEV, our electrified offerings will be further enhanced to address the diversified needs of Chinese customers,” he said.
