BEIJING (April 6, 2023) – Nissan’s sales in China in the first three months of 2023 stood at 161,961 units, a 36.8% decline year on year.
The sales volume of Dongfeng Nissan (including Nissan, Venucia, and INFINITI brands) reached 151,467 units in Q1, 2023. The LCV business represented by Zhengzhou Nissan (ZNA) sold 10,494 units in the three months, a 7.6% increase year on year.
Nissan in China sold 54,443 units in March, a 25.3% decline year on year.

Nissan reports retail sales for PV and wholesale sales for LCV
“Our priority and focus now remains on the quality of sales, ensuring sustainable growth and benefits for our partners, customers, and our business in China,” said Shohei Yamazaki, senior vice president of Nissan, chairman of the Management Committee for China and president of Dongfeng Motor Ltd. (DFL), adding that the company is on track to introduce several new models in China in coming months with Nissan’s cutting-edge technologies to “meet the diversified needs of Chinese customers.”
