GUANGZHOU, China (Nov. 22, 2019) – Nissan is showcasing the Nissan IMs concept car, the Formula E race car and the company’s latest interactive brand experience, Nissan Intelligent Mobility City, at the 17th Guangzhou International Automobile Exhibition.
Nissan Intelligent Mobility, the company’s vision for changing how cars are powered, driven and connected with society, underpins all of the featured exhibits.
Nissan IMs concept
First unveiled at the 2019 North American International Auto Show, the Nissan IMs emphasizes sporty, electric-powered performance. It transforms the traditional sedan into a fresh, new vehicle with a sleek look and provocative proportions. The IMs a significant milestone in a series of advanced Nissan EV concepts that includes the Nissan IMx and IMk models.
The Nissan IMs stands out with its simple, unadorned design language and advanced Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies. Exhibited at select international auto shows around the world, it’s an advanced study in progressive proportions, resulting in an entirely new type of vehicle – the elevated sports sedan.

Formula E race car
In 2018, Nissan became the first Japanese automotive brand to compete in the all-electric ABB FIA Formula E Championship.
Nissan’s Formula E car is joined at the auto exhibition by the new Nissan LEAF, the world’s best-selling EV, with global sales of more than 440,000 vehicles (as of 31 Oct. 2019).

Nissan Intelligent Mobility City
Dongfeng Nissan, one of the affiliates of Nissan’s Chinese joint venture company, DFL, is bringing Nissan Intelligent Mobility City to this year’s motor show. Consisting of eight immersive experience displays – titled Seer, Racer, Changer, Performer, Supplier, Predictor and Counselor – Nissan Intelligent Mobility City shows how current and future advanced intelligent technologies interact with customers. By merging the physical and digital worlds, Nissan Intelligent Mobility City creates an immersive, seamless experience for customers.
Visitors to the Guangzhou Motor Show can see these innovations and learn more at the Nissan booth in Hall 5.2 of the China Import and Export Fair Complex. The motor show is open to the public from Nov. 22 to Dec. 1, 2019.
